Description: Main Distance: 8 MiEvent Size: 300 ParticipantsHighlights: This is an 8 mile run or walk event that starts in Newport News Park and ends at the Yorktown Victory Monument. The race is on park trails and goes through the historic battlefields in Yorktown Virginia. All procedes from the race benefit the local nonprofit organization KIDZ N GRIEF. This is a Colonial Road Runner Grand Prix Event. Preregistration deadline is March 15th 2010 and the entry fee is $25 for adults and $20 for students. Race day registrtion entry fee is $30 for adults and $25 for students. Registration begins at 7:30 and race starts at 9:00. Awards ceremony will begin at 11:15 and food will be provided at the finish line. Registration fee includes Tshirt and bus transportation back to the start line.
