Highlights: This is the only event of its kind on the Navajo Nation. 2010 is the 27th Anniversary of the Shiprock Marathon Relays on Saturday May 1st. Events include a USATF certified Marathon Marathon Relay HalfMarathon and 10K Trail Walk. Runners from all 50 states and from around the world have participated in this soulstirring high desert classic which passes by the amazing 40 million year old 1800? cinder cone of Shiprock visible during most of the Marathon.
