Highlights: Free kids 12 mile run starts at 8 a.m. 5K runwalk starts at 8:30 a.m. 10K run starts at 8:40 a.m. Enjoy our new course over the Folsom Crossing Bridge and down the beautiful American River Parkway. Our new addition is The Wild Way Course. This challenging obstacle course is an entirely new part of the Run with Nature fun! Although we?ll hand out awards to the top finishers you?re mostly competing for the sheer fun of it remember how to do that?. Take it on singlehandedly to challenge your skills or take the pack approach with your whole family participating and help each other through the course. Tackle the Wild Way as your main event or add it on after your 5K 10K or youth run. The course takes you on a 2 mile crazy rollercoaster of a run over grass gravel pavement and dirt up hills and down hills over fences under barricades through fields along chutes through the Zoo up flights of stairs and over logs spanning a mud moat.
