Highlights: The annual FPYCBelmont 5K a popular spring event for the Floral Park community this year takes on special meaning. The 2010 event will raise funds for The Hance Family Foundation. We are working with the Floral Park Youth Council and The Floral Park Conservation Society on this full day of events. These two organizations support the health and welfare of the children of our community and we hope to work further with them in the future. Held early Saturday morning May 22 2010 the races will be as per tradition a Pee Wee Run a One Mile Race and a 5K race. The two shorter distances will be run entirely inside the Centennial Gardens. The 5K will begin and end at the Gardens but its majority will be run through the scenic streets of Floral Park. Chip timing provided by Just Finish Inc. and music at the two water stops will keep this race smooth professional and FUN!!!
