For the past several years this race has been the goto event for hundreds of area trail runners and with a new 10K course option being added to the mix in 2010 this race is sure to attract many more athletes looking for an awesome day of running in the woods. Held in one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the Washington DC metro area these singleloop race courses have it all from forested hiking trails to wide fire roads to streamside singletrack. Operated by the National Park Service with 15000 acres 37 miles of trails and 21 miles of fire roads and pavement Prince William Forest Park has stunning terrain and a truly remote feel for being just 30 minutes south of Washington DC.
