Highlights: Runners get a chance to enjoy nice soft dirt terrain and run along one of the countrys oldest trail roads at the early summer time running of Plymouths Old Sandwich Road Race Half Marathon 10K. The course takes runners along the road by the same name which was originally a trail used by the Wampanoag native American tribe and later became the nations first true public road and a stagecoach route to ferry passengers and mail back and forth between the Massachusetts towns of Plymouth and Sandwich. There will be four 1 mile races on the track for kids ages 714 years. Google: Old Sandwich Road
